Dear Valued Clients
Unfortunately, we have reached an unprecedented time of having only 2 full time veterinarians for the foreseeable future as we have Dr Jess Beare and Dr Charlie Sinclair are moving onto different life journeys. We will miss them greatly.
At this stage we have been unable to fill their positions with full time employees but have part time staff to allow our practice to continue daily. As such, we are temporarily unable to offer our full afterhours service due to having to maintain normal day to day services. We are therefore implementing an afterhours triage service that will help us manage afterhours emergencies.
For the first few months we are all testing what does and doesn’t work so we can adapt to make it work best for all of us. Large animal calls will be serviced but most small animal emergencies out of daylight hours will need to go to Toowoomba until we are adequately staffed. We have prided ourselves on being able to offer our valued afterhours service but we must also look after our staff. We apologise for the inconvenience and are trying our best to rehire and get back to some normality.
We please ask you to be patient whilst we navigate through all of this but welcome feedback via email at info@pittsworthvetsurgery.com.au so we can adapt and best manage this process going forward. The triage service is due to start beginning of February 2024. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email Megan at the forementioned email address or leave a message and she will call you back when she is able. Thank you all for being such amazing clients and we only hope we can resume normal services soon.
Kind regards
Megan Smith
